COVID-19 Prevention Training
The COVID-19 Prevention Training Course (C19) was developed to provide general health and safety guidelines to help minimize the risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19 in the motion picture production industry.
In approximately 30 minutes, the C19 course covers the following topics:
- Recognizing the signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
- Use of masks and respirators.
- Hand washing, including proper techniques.
- Additional COVID-19 prevention measures
Course Availability
The C19 course is available to individuals represented by the DGA and SAG-AFTRA. It is also available for purchase by eligible motion picture industry employers through the Training Referral Platform.
The C19 course is optimized for delivery on smartphones and other mobile devices but may also be completed using a web browser on a desktop or laptop computer.
Course Access
- DGA-represented employees working as Assistant Directors, Unit Production Managers, Associate Directors or Stage Managers, and SAG-AFTRA Stunt Coordinators may access the course by clicking on the Portal Sign-In button to the right. (Directors enrolled in the training by their employer will access the course through the Training Referral platform [see more below].)
- Employees enrolled by their employer in training through the Training Referral Platform may click here to access their account.
I’m an employer. How do I assign C19 to my employees?
Motion picture industry employers who wish to assign C19 training to employees who do not have access to Contract Services training may be eligible to do so through the Contract Services Training Referral Platform. Click here to learn more.
